You're not alone if you're feeling menopause pulling at your focus, your confidence, or your career just as you hit your stride.
Rachelle Kuramoto is a brand and business strategist with more than 20 years of experience helping organizations clarify their purpose, earn trust, and communicate with credibility. She founded the award-winning brand consultancy Watchword, then took the company through an acquisition before leading brand and content for one of the Southeast's most active private market investment platforms. She is a for-profit and nonprofit servant leader who has worked with organizations including The Coca-Cola Company, The Carter Center, and Morehouse School of Medicine.
Throughout her career, she has seen a common pattern. Talented women reach the most senior, most demanding, and ostensibly most fulfilling years of their working lives just as menopause arrives. Many manage their symptoms quietly, without clear information or support. But too many step back from roles they had spent decades earning.
At Selfority, Rachelle leads business strategy, brand, and Menopause, At Work, the company's employer program. She works with HR and executive leaders on the business case for menopause support: what unaddressed symptoms cost in retention and performance, and what it takes to keep experienced women leading. Her work pairs with co-founder Dr. Sarah Berg's clinical expertise, so the education is medically rigorous and the workplace strategy is practical.
Closing gaps for women has been the through line of Rachelle's leadership. She mentors and invests in women entrepreneurs, advises female founders and nonprofit leaders, and works to fund education for young women. Selfority brings that commitment to a gap nearly every woman faces: the distance between what she experiences and what she's been told.
A Message From Rachelle
Your Ambition Didn't Change. Your Support Should.
For many women, menopause peaks as we reach the pinnacle of our professional lives and personal responsibilities. We are leading teams, building companies, caring for children and parents, and finally holding the influence we spent decades earning.
Then something shifts. Sleep gets harder. Focus slips. Confidence wavers in rooms where it never did before. Too many of us quietly tough it out, or pull back from our potential, because no one told us what was happening or that support existed.
Neither is necessary.
I have spent my career helping organizations say what matters clearly and build systems people can trust. Selfority applies that work to one of the most overlooked transitions in a woman's life. With Dr. Sarah Berg, I'm building a place where women get clear, credible menopause education, and where employers learn how to keep their most experienced women leading.
You have earned your seat. You deserve the information and support to keep it, on your terms.
