Meet Dr. Sarah Berg

I’m Dr. Sarah Berg, a board-certified OB-GYN and Menopause Society Certified Practitioner. For more than a decade, I’ve cared for women through every stage of life, and time after time I saw how unprepared and unsupported most women felt as they entered menopause. Too often, they blamed themselves, felt isolated, or got lost in the endless scroll of confusing and conflicting advice online.
That’s why I created Selfority and built Menopause, Explained — to give women the evidence-based information they deserve, explained in a way that feels human, not clinical. My teaching style is practical, empowering, and yes, sometimes funny. (Because you’re allowed to laugh while learning about hot flashes.)
When I’m not breaking down menopause myths, you’ll find me trail running, wrangling my kids, or carrying my trusty water bottle, which has basically become my emotional support accessory. My mission is simple: to make sure no woman ever feels dismissed, in the dark, or alone when it comes to her own body.
