SUMMER 2026  ·  ISSUE NO. 3

A note from dr. berg

August was all about momentum. The Selfority community is growing, workplace conversations are widening, and policy is a priority.

Hi Friend,

Some months move on the strength of one big moment. Progress in August came as a result of many small and important steps.

We've welcomed the first cohort the Selfority Circle. This select group of women has shown up and supported the Selfority mission from its first days, and they now have a real seat at the table as we continue to build. We hosted a Central Park TechWalk, engaging dozens of attendees in safe and positive conversations about menopause in the workplace. And Congress is back on our calendar: Hill Day is September 22nd and we're going in well prepared, thanks to our newest team member.

With you,

The Selfority Team

WHAT'S NEW
  • We welcomed the first cohort of the Selfority Circle, a special community of supporters
  • Dr. Berg joined the Bold Moves podcast and roundtable to discuss menopause in midlife transitions, and Another Bloody Podcast picked up the conversation on perimenopausal rage
  • Hill Day is September 22 in Washington, D.C. — this is what you need to know
  • Menopause, At Work guided Employee Resource Group (ERG) sessions for major employers on how to talk about menopause in the workplace

community update

Introducing the Selfority Circle.

Too often, the menopause transition is harder than it needs to be, simply because we try to figure it out alone. We built the Selfority Circle to make sure that doesn’t happen. In August, the first cohort accepted their invitations. We have launched the Circle with a small, hand-picked group of women who have been with us since the earliest days of Selfority, quietly and actively championing our work, sharing their experience, and offering their perspective on how Selfority can be the best possible resource.

We get started in September. Stay tuned to meet them and to see how Selfority evolves and grows.

If you’re interested in being part of the second cohort, just respond to this email.

ADVOCACY updates

Menopause Advocacy Hill Day is September 22, 2026

We'll be back in Washington, D.C. on September 22 for Hill Day to meet with senators, congresspeople, and staff to keep menopause research funding and workplace protections moving. If you have a representative or topic that matters to you, reply to this email. If you can't be there, engage with us on LinkedIn for updates.

MENOPAUSE IN THE WORKPLACE

Menopause, At Work
by Selfority

Perimenopause and menopause affect women at the peak of their careers, and they affect everyone who works with them. Yet, fewer than 10% of U.S. companies have a real framework to support them.

Menopause, At Work from Selfority® is one of the few workplace education platforms built by a board-certified OB-GYN and Menopause Society Certified Practitioner. It sits alongside existing benefits and L&D offerings – making implementation smooth and positioning organizations to get more from their women’s health benefit offerings.

Selfority continues to guide Employee Resource Group sessions inside large organizations. The conversations focused on reframing menopause from a silent issue with massive economic and cultural impacts to a recognized and accommodated workplace norm.

This is the conversation more employers are having. We would love to help you open the discussion.
